This powder is made from minerals. You can even leave it on at night if you are lazy, although it is not recommended. You can put it on thick to make a real foundation, or sparsely to work just as a powder to absorb oil, and as an evener of skin tone (which is what I do most of the time). It is very smooth, unlumpy (you grind only as much as you will use), and pleasant to brush on.

I recommend buying the Elizabeth Arden brush to go with it (not the puff that comes with it)...
