I used to use Proactiv until the cost started getting to me. Since then, I haven't really had much luck with my face. Well it turns out that all that really matters is the active ingredient. The reason Proactiv worked so well for me was because the type of acne that I get is deep which requires benzoyl peroxide, not salicylic acid.
