I wouldn't recommend it for someone with darker than an olive skin tone, it might look ashy. This powder is actually white in the container.

It is a very finely ground powder that gives minimal coverage, but does a great job setting foundation. I love the satiny feel, and am quite fair-skinned so it looks fine on my skin-- doesn't white wash me out, but doesn't give me a "glow" either. Just a nice matte set.

Good price for a very good amount of product, I'm sure...
