I bought this for Halloween because I wanted better quality face make-up. When I first put it on it was a little splotchy and did not have good coverage. So I went to Youtube and Googled "how to apply clown make-up." There is a video with this product in it and the guy took a chunk out and warmed it in this palm first then began patting his face, which covered all the splotches and gave that full cover look.
