Technically I know this isn't a foundation; however, I use this either over my existing foundation for a flawless finish or if I'm looking for light coverage, I'll wear it alone. It's mate and doesn't get caught up in your tiny and not so tiny lines. You can use this with the little pad that comes with it or a quality brush. Either way, you will get a flawless look. I love this and I'm on my second tub already, which says a lot since I rarely ever finish anything.
