Tarte's foundation is more natural-looking, doesn't dry out your skin in the winter, and seems to control oil in the T-zone better than Bare Minerals. The coverage is ok- but the main reason I chose this was because it was recommended by Lisa Eldridge (makeup artist) because of the natural way it doesn't sit on skin. I have blended using the applicator, brushes, and my fingers, and i'm not finding that result (at least with my skin). I can actually see it on my skin, which I don't care for. Note: I do have very fair dry skin, but i moisturize and make sure my skin is hydrated before applying makeup.

I tried the Touche Eclat on a whim. Being a fanatical concealer user to hide dark circles and work with deep set eyes, I have become a connisseur of sorts. Most concealers will settle into any little 'crinkles' around my eye area, but not this one. Additionally, it brightens AND lightens without being thick and heavy. I can't believe how well it works. I've tried EVERY type of expensive foundation (suckered by their claims and thinking you get what you pay for).

I am a loyal user of Nars Orgasm, but I bought this on a whim. It's very pigmented and you only need a little. It's buildable so you can go from almost sheer to deep without any trouble. So far, this is the best under eye concealer I've tried. It's creamy and seems to blend well with fingers - not so much with a brush.
